The appearance of this knife gives the impression of a durable, uncompromising, and aggressive thing, just like T-Rex dinosaur itself.
The blade is made of 9Cr14MoV steel, which is almost identical with popular Japanese steel AUS-8A. In comparison with 8Cr13MoV, 9Cr14MoV steel contains more carbon and chrome, which means good corrosion resistance and hardness.
An American tanto blade profile in combination with a flat grind is suitable for piercing and cutting operations. Riffling on the spine increases control during work. The Stonewash finish is good protection from scratches; depending on the model it can be black or white. There is one way of pushing the blade open – a flipper tab. The blade opens very smoothly, thanks to the ball bearing system, which is one of the main advantages of Skif knives' new generation. The Frame Lock provides a reliable lock up to the blade when in use.
The scales are made of G-10 and available in three different colors: black, orange, and green. Handle also contains a lanyard hole and a pocket clip. The Skif T-Rex will be suitable for everyday carry or outdoor activities.
