Skif Pocket Patron is a completely new model that was developed and released in 2019.
A Drop Point blade is made of 8Cr14MoV steel, which is almost identical with popular Japanese steel AUS-8A. In comparison with 8Cr13MoV, 8Cr14MoV steel contains more chrome, which means good corrosion resistance.
The swedge is along the spine of the blade. In combination with flat grinds, that go 1/3 from the spine, it provides wonderful cutting and piercing abilities. Stonewash finish is a good protection from scratches; depending on the model it can be black or white. There is one way of pushing the blade open –a flipper tab. The blade opens very smoothly, thanks to the ball bearing system, which is one of the main advantages of Skif knives' new generation. The Frame Lock provides a reliable lock up to the blade when in use.
The scales are made of G-10 and available in three different colors: black, orange, and green. Handle also contains a lanyard hole and a pocket clip. The Skif Pocket Patron will be suitable for everyday carry or outdoor activities.
