The Frontier model is the first collaboration between Skif Knives and well-known Ukrainian knife designer Oleksii Nesterenko. The Frontier offers a blend of practicality and refined design and comes in two color options: black or Stonewash.
The knife features a Drop Point blade profile with a pronounced false edge. The blade is made of D2 tool steel, which retains sharpness for a long time and is easy to resharpen. Combined with the blade geometry, it delivers excellent piercing and cutting performance.
Depending on the chosen option, the blade finish may vary: scratch-hiding Stonewash or protective black coating. The spine has jimping for thumb support, providing better control. In addition, a choil at the blade heel makes delicate work easier.
The knife is deployed with a flipper, while smooth action is ensured by a ceramic ball-bearing system. The blade is securely fixed with a reliable Liner Lock.
The Frontier series comes with two handle scale options: green Micarta for a comfortable grip or durable G-10. The handle is accented with a bronze-colored ring around the pivot screw. A matching bronze backspacer provides extra strength to the overall construction. For convenient carry, the knife features a reversible deep-carry pocket clip and a lanyard hole integrated into the backspacer.
